McGill owns and operates two composting facilities in Ireland, serving a variety of residuals processing clients and compost sales customers. All McGill facilities are permitted by the appropriate jurisdictional agencies and operated to meet or exceed all regulatory requirements. Castletownroche, Co Cork The Castletownroche facility handles approximately 10,000 tonnes of by-products and residuals per year and has been in operation since 1997. Co Waterford
The Cappoquin facility operates under the name of Molaisín Compost Limited and has been operational since January 2004. It was officially opened by Martin Cullen, Minister for the Environment, on 14th May 2004. The facility has the capacity to compost 12,000 tonnes of material per year.
McGill's newest facility is located near Glenville in Co Cork with a 20,000 tonnes per annum capacity.
